The Easton Legacy Fund (ELF) is ideal for someone who wants to pay it forward in appreciation for what Easton has meant to them, growing up, raising a family, or simply as a resident.
Imagine Easton without the beautiful open spaces of the Governor Ames Estate and the Natural Resources Trust, or without the rich cultural experiences available at the Oakes Ames Memorial Hall, the Ames Free Library and the Easton Historical Society, or without the social support of the Easton Food Pantry, and the House of Possibilities, it would be a much-diminished place. These are just a few of the Not-for-Profit institutions that define Easton’s character and quality of life.
A gift can honor someone living or commemorate a friend or loved one. Gifts can be made today or included in a will.
Donations are invested in a portfolio of top ranked mutual funds that will grow over time. A donation today will fund projects of Easton Not-for-Profits for years to come.
Investment Management | SouthCoast Community Foundation
ELF’s investments are managed by the SouthCoast Community Foundation. Started 25 years ago in New Bedford, they now manage portfolios aggregating over $40 million for more than 175 programs that include scholarships and endowments, as well as donor and committee advised funds like ELF. In addition, they provide their programs with services.
ELF’s grant application process is supported by South Coast, and its fund advisors have benefited from their governance counsel. The relationship with South Coast is fundamentally important to ELF.
